Alisa Scott has resigned as head coach of SCC women's basketball.
Scott coached for one season at SCC, posting a 3-21 record with a 2-14 division record. However, there was optimism among players that she would turn the team around next season.
Previous to her job at Shoreline, Scott had served as an assistant coach to the WNBA's Houston Comets. She also had coached at Old Dominion University and the University of Mississippi.

  1. I have actually written a feature story on her when I was working at the Public Information Office. Has she said anything about her resignation yet?

  2. She sent an e-mail to Doug Palmer about it, but I couldn't contact her so I am not allowed to provide anything that was in it. :(
